NFL Football Betting: DALLAS COWBOYS at WASHINGTON REDSKINS (9/18)

PRO FOOTBALL — September 18

DALLAS at WASHINGTON
(Line: Redskins -3.5, Total 47.5) – Dak Prescott did indeed show some poise in his first NFL start, but must take note that he averaged only five yards per attempt, and that really limits what the Cowboys can do on the offensive end. Can Ezekiel Elliott make a difference? He didn’t last week. Jason Witten averaged just 7.3 yards per catch. Kirk Cousins tossed a couple of interceptions against the Steelers, but you can not ignore that last year at FedEx Field he was 74% accurate with a 16-2 ratio of TD’s to INT’s. Though the ‘Skins may struggle to run it as well, they have the edge in firepower, and maybe they will have a better game plan than to keep big-money free agent Josh Norman away from the opposition’s top receiver. Keep in mind as well that the Cowboys have lost 13 of the last 14 times when someone other than Tony Romo was starting at quarterback (although that game was last year vs. Washington).
