NBA Finals Betting – Game 7: CLEVELAND CAVALIERS at GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS (6/19)

PRO BASKETBALL — June 19

NBA Finals – Game 7
CLEVELAND at GOLDEN STATE

(America’s Bookie Line: Warriors -5, Total 205.5) — Certainly Cleveland comes in here with some momentum, having won the last two games. And it appears as if LeBron James can not be stopped. But can he be slowed? Andre Iguodala’s back injury may not allow him to do that a lot, but this is where Draymond Green may have to pick up the slack. He missed Game 5, of course, and G-State’s defense suffered greatly. What Golden State has to do is avoid getting in a hole early; the Cavs have outscored them by 31 points in the first quarter. And with the excitement in the crowd tonight, that is a possibility. Remember that when Green was starting, the Dubs took both Game 1 and Game 2 easily at home. They are 50-4 straight-up in Oakland this season. They have more offensive options – that is, if Harrison Barnes can shake off an 0-14 streak. And there is no reason G-State should not be able to get out on the break better than they have (just 59 fast break points so far). Cleveland has shot just 29% on contested jumpers in this series, and so what the Warriors may have to do is get tighter out there on the perimeter, doing what they did in the first two games when they held the Cavs to just 29% from beyond the arc. LeBron has been 50% from downtown the last two games, and we don’t think he can continue that.
