NBA Finals Betting – Game 5: CLEVELAND CAVALIERS at GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS (6/13)

PRO BASKETBALL — June 13

NBA Finals – Game 5
CLEVELAND at GOLDEN STATE

(America’s Bookie Line: Warriors -5.5, Total 208.5) — The Warriors caught a a big blow when Draymond Green was ruled out with a one-game suspension. So they now must proceed without a guy who gives them so much in so many areas – some scoring, but also rebounds and assists, where he leads the team, as well as blocked shots. To give you an example, when he and Steph Curry are on the floor together, Golden State has outscored the opposition by 21 points per 100 possessions, and when Curry is out there without Green it is just a +3. The defensive look of the team changes a little, and Curry doesn’t get as much help. We’ll see whether Cleveland goes to a smaller lineup or tries to capitalize on size. When they haven’t had a true center in there, Golden State has outscored Cleveland by 51 points in this series, but that was because they had Green at the “5” spot. We believe he may be the most valuable member of this team, when taking the entire package into account at both ends of the floor, in addition to genuine leadership, and so we will put our money where our mouth is. The Cavs may not survive to play another game, but they can make a game out of this one.
