West Finals – Game 7
OKLAHOMA CITY at GOLDEN STATE

(America’s Bookie Line: Warriors -7, Total 218) — Obviously this is the spot the Thunder did not want to find themselves in – having to win on the road in order to advance to the Finals. But here they are, and coming off yet another game in which they lost after taking a lead into the fourth quarter (16 times in all this season). Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook shot 34.5% between them – one for 13 from the arc – and that is awful. And Klay Thompson hit them with all those threes (11, to be exact, setting an NBA record), while OKC was just 3-23 from the arc. Even with all of that, the Warriors had life-and-death in the late going. Remember a few things – all five members of OKC’s starting lineup have averaged at least 6.7 rebounds in this series, so they are hard to keep off the boards. And they produced 16 offensive rebounds and a 52-28 edge in points in the paint in Game 6. The Thunder also went into the most hostile territory imaginable in the playoffs and came out with wins – San Antonio (twice) and Oakland (Game 1 of this series). They have enough mental toughness to take this one to the wire.
