College Basketball Betting: NCAA – PROVIDENCE FRIARS vs. USC TROJANS (3/17)

NCAA Tournament @ Raleigh

(America’s Bookie Line: Providence -2.5, Total 150) — The Friars have a great inside-outside combination with power forward Ben Bentil (over 20 ppg) and point guard Kris Dunn (two-time Big East player of the year). And with their 4-1 SU, 5-0 ATS finish, they come in with more momentum than USC, which has lost seven of its last ten. But Providence lacks depth, which means that they will also be hard-pressed to adjust when Andy Enfield switches back and forth from his big and small lineups. There are six double-digit scorers for the Trojans, and even though they were inconsistent in this area coming down the stretch, they are a lot better with the three-ball than Providence, which shot 42% from the floor and 32% from the arc.
