Pro Basketball Betting: BROOKLYN NETS at LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS (2/29)

PRO BASKETBALL — February 29

BROOKLYN at L.A. CLIPPERS
(America’s Bookie Line: Clippers -12.5, Total 210.5) — It was the objective of Nets’ interim coach Tony Brown to step up the pace, and he has delivered in a big way, as his team has scored 105 ppg over their last nine. They have also improved their three-point shooting (44% in last nine). They are trending very strongly toward the “over” (12 of last 16). Of course, they don;t defend all that well (allowing 47%). Brooklyn is relatively inexperienced at the point guard spot, and Chris Paul, who has scored 26.7 ppg in his last six, is coming off 40 points against the Kings, who were without Rajon Rondo. By the way, the Nets, no without Joe Johnson and buying into the new “program,” is after its third straight win, which would be a first for them this season.
