Friday Night Football Betting: EAST CAROLINA PIRATES at UCONN HUSKIES (10/30)

COLLEGE FOOTBALL — October 30

EAST CAROLINA at UCONN
(America’s Bookie Line: ECU -5.5, Total 51) — UConn has gained a well-earned reputation as a stuttering offensive team, and that was enough to get by as long as the defense was making stops. But they are starting to crumble under the weight of lack of offensive support and field position, as they have yielded over 100 yards over the last two games. ECU may not be as offensively capable as, say, Cincinnati, which put up 612 yards last week against UConn, but they can still move it, with southpaw QB Blake Kemp (70%) effectively complemented by “relief pitcher” James Summers, who can hoof it. No way the Pirates are daunted by this atmosphere, as they have already shown, for example, on their trip to “The Swamp” in Gainesville that they can compete on the road.
