College Football Odds: OLE MISS REBELS at AUBURN TIGERS (10/31)

COLLEGE FOOTBALL — October 31

OLE MISS at AUBURN
(America’s Bookie Line: Ole Miss -7.5, Total 46.5) — Yes, we know that it’s always risky laying points like this on the road in the SEC. But Ole Miss is “armed” with the better quarterback in this one (Chad Kelly); Auburn’s Sean White has started four games and has yet to throw a touchdown pass! The Tigers have been burning money for coach Gus Malzahn, covering one of their last 12 games. The decision to bring in Will Muschamp as defensive coordinator has not been a profitable one, as this stop unit is barely in the Top 100 nationally. Meanwhile, the Rebels may experience a revitalized run game with Laremy Tunsil, the super-talented tackle who just came off NCAA suspension. And a nice bonus for this potentially mean Ole Miss defense – which held Texas A&M’s Kyle Allen to 0-for-13 in the third quarter last week – is that monster defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche, who’s had concussion symptoms and has had to sit out, will be back in the lineup again. Don’t forget that Mississippi’s best win came on the road against Alabama.
