NFL Betting: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES at NEW YORK JETS (9/27)

PRO FOOTBALL — September 27

PHILADELPHIA at N.Y. JETS
(America’s Bookie Line: Jets -3, Total 47) — Just a guess, but we think that sooner or later (no pun intended), Sam Bradford will find a rhythm, and DeMarco Murray will finally average more than 19 inches a carry. And perhaps this is as good a time as ever, as the Eagles are in an 0-2 hole at the moment. The Jets have seemed dominant defensively, but they have also forced ten turnovers. Won’t that even out at some point, and when it does, won’t their limitations on offense become exposed? Ryan Fitzpatrick has been limited his whole career, and now he is without Eric Decker, who is sitting out this one with a knee injury. Darrelle Revis is really bothered by a groin injury, painful enough that on Friday he wasn’t even sure he could play. Remember that Philly is doing a decent job against the run (3.1 ypc), so the Jets may find it difficult to get some room. Wouldn’t it be interesting to see Mark Sanchez take some snaps against his former teammates?
