Monday Night NFL Betting: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS at GREEN BAY PACKERS (9/28)

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL — September 28

KANSAS CITY at GREEN BAY
(America’s Bookie Line: Packers -5.5, Total 47.5) — There are certain ways the Chiefs could stay close in this one, and even win – by running the ball with authority against a Green Bay from that might not be all that great; by putting some pressure on with Justin Houston against a potential weak spot in the Packer OL, or by winning the turnover battle in a big way. But we have to scratch that one, in all likelihood, don’t we? Aaron Rodgers has thrown 43 TD’s at Lambeau Field since his last interception there, and so Kansas City, which committed five TO’s last week against Denver, is not going to be able to capitalize on that aspect of the game that led to so much success in Andy Reid’s first season at the helm. And with a passing attack that consists of very short throws, we’re not sure that Alex Smith is going to be in a good position to play catch-up if he gets behind – which is a very distinct possibility here. Thus far the Chiefs have converted on only FIFTEEN percent of their third down opportunities.
