Baseball Betting: DETROIT TIGERS at BOSTON RED SOX (7/26)

BASEBALL — July 26

DETROIT (Greene) at BOSTON (Rodrgiuez)
(America’s Bookie Line: Red Sox -150 / Tigers +130, Total 9.5) — Shane Greene has been a disaster area lately, with an ERA of 13.75 in his last five starts, all of which the Tigers have lost. This guy has struck out almost four fewer batters per nine innings than he did last year, and that is scary. Sure, the Red Sox have scored 16 times in their last nine games. But if there is anybody they can get well against, this is the guy. And it would seem much more likely that they can get a serviceable effort out of rookie Eduardo Rodriguez, who has turned in seven very good efforts in his ten starts.
