NBA Betting : NBA FInals Game 2 – CLEVELAND CAVALIERS at GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS (6/7)

PRO BASKETBALL — June 7

NBA Finals – Game 1
CLEVELAND at GOLDEN STATE

(America’s Bookie Line: Warriors -8, Total 200.5) — Well, the injury to Kyrie Irving would seem to change the dynamic on this series, at least in the estimation of many bettors. He had a sterling effort in Game 1, with 23 points, and he was a great compliment to LeBron James. But now he is out for the duration, and the Cavs have to compensate somehow. One might expect even more from James, but the outside shots have to fall, which means more three-pointers being attempted. The Cavs’ shooters have the ability to do some damage, but it is imperative that they get something substantial off the bench (JR Smith, etc.) because Golden State hammered them on the second unit. We still believe in the Cavaliers’ defense, however, and take note that even when Irving wasn’t playing, they were holding opponents to low percentages. The size Cleveland has in the middle should be an advantage, if they can make more second-chance opportunities (just 1-11 in that regard in Game 1). LeBron helps them keep it tight.
