Basketball Betting : NBA FInals Game 3 – GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS at CLEVELAND CAVALIERS (6/9)

PRO BASKETBALL — June 9

NBA Finals – Game 3
GOLDEN STATE at CLEVELAND

(America’s Bookie Line: Warriors -1.5, Total 194) — The Cavaliers were able to handle the absence of Kyrie Irving by ramping up the defensive effort, especially as it involved Stephen Curry, the league MVP, who was held to 5 of 23 and a pitiful two of 15 from three-point range. He probably won’t repeat that, but you can bet that the Cavs are going to make Golden State take more time on the shot clock then they want to, thereby upsetting the flow of their game a little. Cleveland is clearly winning the battle of tempo, as these teams have combined for 88.9 possessions per 48 minutes, which is slower than the slowest team in the league this season. There was a big adjustment in the total, so not sure we’re moving in that direction. But the Warriors (29% from arc in this series) are going to try to “get right” at a venue where the Cavs have won 26 of their last 28 games, and Cleveland has yet to do ITS best three-point shooting yet.
