Basketball Betting : NBA FInals Game 1 – CLEVELAND CAVALIERS at GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS (6/4)

NBA FInals – Game 1

(America’s Bookie Line: Warriors -5.5, Total 203.5) — This is clearly a game between one team (Cleveland) which wants to use the shot clock and a lot of isolation, and another team (Golden State) which wants to get up shots quickly but combine that with a lot of ball movement as well. Golden State had 67 assists to just 28 for Cleveland in the two meetings this season, if that gives you any guideline. We like what the Warriors can bring to the table, especially as the Cavaliers are going to use Kyrie Irving, who may be a step slow with the tendinitis in his right knee. He can be exploited on the defensive end, and who better to do it then Steph Curry, the league MVP? Remember that Golden State was the league’s top defensive team during the regular season, and they can play mix-and-match to throw a lot of different defenders who are around 6-foot-7 at Lebron James. No they won’t stop him, but they might be able to keep him on the perimeter enough times to make a difference. No one should lose sight of the fact that two of the NBA’s top players in the category of Defensive Rating are upfront for the Warriors – Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut. So even with Cleveland’s collection of three-point shooters, Golden State will be the team to give up you are easy baskets. And the Warriors have lost only three times on their home court all season long. Chalk another victory up.
