NBA Betting: GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS at HOUSTON ROCKETS – Game 4 (5/25)

PRO BASKETBALL — May 25

Game 4- West Finals
GOLDEN STATE at HOUSTON

(GetThatBet Line: Warriors -4.5, Total 214.5) — Aside from the fact that they can’t stop what Stephen Curry is doing (35.7 ppg, 61% shooting), the Rockets were plagued by a complete lack of effort in their Game 3 laydown. This, more than anything else, is an opportunity for them to save some face. And effort is something they can put forth. Jason Terry has laid down the gauntlet for Curry, as he says he is tired of the approach he is taking. He’ll be more aggressive, and even if that doesn’t work, it will set an example for his teammates. We’re going to imagine that James Harden is not going to have another game where he shoots three for 16, but Klay Thompson has not been red-hot in this series, particularly from the outside (4 for 22 beyond arc). And maybe Houston makes some adjustments to make Andrew Bogut less of a factor on offense. We have seen the Rockets respond when they were properly motivated. Coming back from elimination, especially at home, should provide that. And judging from the results in the first two games (close wins for the Warriors, but covers for Houston), they have the potential to match up rather well.
