NBA Betting: CLEVELAND CAVALIERS at ATLANTA HAWKS – Game 1 (5/20)

PRO BASKETBALL — May 20

Game 1 – East Finals
CLEVELAND at ATLANTA

(GetThatBet Line: Hawks -2, Total 199.5) — The Hawks had some pretty good success against the Cavs this season, winning three out of four meetings, and they had an Offensive Rating of 114.2, which was very strong. Interestingly enough, Atlanta, which averaged 109 points in those games, only had its starting lineup together once in those games. They all went over 200. The Cavs have played pretty good defense in the playoffs, but not against a style like this one, and Kyrie Irving, who would normally be expected to keep Atlanta’s point guard tandem of Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder in check, is hurting (foot and knee). Some upside here for the Hawks, as Kyle Korver is shooting just 35% from three-point range in the post-season. If he gets hot, look out. And we see no reason for Paul Millsap to get into foul trouble; with him on the floor, Atlanta averages almost 108 points per 100 possessions.
