NBA Betting: ATLANTA HAWKS at CLEVELAND CAVALIERS – Game 4 (5/26)

PRO BASKETBALL — May 26

Game 4 – East Finals
ATLANTA at CLEVELAND

(GetThatBet Line: Cavs -7.5, Total 194.5) — Atlanta is thinned out, with the loss of Kyle Korver. They did hang in gallantly the other night after losing Al Horford to the ejection, but the fact of the matter is that they have not shot well beyond the arc against this series (26.6%), and that is no accident, as the Cavs have defended the rim like it was a fortress, allowing just 41% from the floor in the playoffs. To give you some perspective, the Warriors led the league with 42.8% this season. And Cleveland also has a +11.4 rebounding margin per game. The Hawks are not running their offense the way they should, with Jeff Teague taking too many shots, as he tries to challenge the Cavs’ backcourt. And there isn’t a whole lot they can do to stretch Cleveland out on defense, except put someone like Shelvin Mack in the game. Dennis Schroder only got a few minutes of time in Game 3; Mike Budenholzer must be displeased with what he is seeing. The pace here has been rather sluggish (89.2 possessions per 48 minutes), so we look to the totals play that makes sense.
