Baseball Betting : NEW YORK YANKEES at OAKLAND ATHLETICS (5/28)

BASEBALL — May 28

N.Y. YANKEES at OAKLAND
(GetThatBet Line: Pick’em -110, Total 7.5) — CC Sabathia has an ERA of 5.47, but that is mostly due to his misfortune at Yankee Stadium. On the road he is actually at 3.48, and he is a southpaw, which has been bad news for the A’s, who are 2-10 against left-handed starters. Oakland has taken a precipitous drop this season, and that is not going to improve unless they can start to win at home; with a 6-16 record at the O.co Coliseum, things are not looking good in that regard. Kendall Graveman showed some promise in his last start against Tampa Bay, but his inconsistency got him sent down to Triple-A earlier in the season. Sabathia is getting some psychological support from Andy Pettitte, which is a good thing, we suppose, and the offensive support might come from Alex Rodriguez, who has hit .455 in his last six games. After dropping ten of 11, the Yankees have now won three straight (over the Royals) to vault into first place in the AL East.
