Baseball Betting : ATLANTA BRAVES at SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (5/30)

BASEBALL — May 30

ATLANTA (Perez) at SAN FRANCISCO (Lincecum)
(America’s Bookie Line: Giants -150, Braves 130, Total 7) — We’re really not sure how well Tim Lincecum is going to work as a long-term proposition, because his walk rate is relatively high, while his strikeout rate is the lowest of his career. But for right now, he is the hot pitcher at AT&T Park, where he has compiled a 1.13 ERA and has a streak of 22 scoreless innings going. Most of the regulars in the Atlanta lineup have not had success against him (e.g., Cameron Maybin and Freddie Freeman a combined 8 of 43 lifetime), and the Braves have averaged 1.63 runs in .188 hitting over the last eight games. They do have an interesting pitcher on the mound, however; William Perez has struck out 14 in eleven innings in two starts, and the Giants have not seen him before. He keeps the Braves competitive for a while.
