NBA Betting: SAN ANTONIO SPURS at LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS (4/22)

PRO BASKETBALL — April 22

SAN ANTONIO at L.A. CLIPPERS
(GetThatBet Line: Clippers -2, Total 206.5) — There is no doubt that the Clippers have tremendous momentum going into this game; in fact they have one 14 of their last 15. And DeAndre Jordan complemented the 58 combined points of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin well, by stuffing the middle, altering almost every inside shot San Antonio attempted. The Spurs were actually less than 50% in the paint, and that’s a problem. So is the fact that Tony Parker is hurting once again. The Spurs got nothing out of their bench that was of any real significance, but you have the feeling that this is not a team that is going to be down for long. They looked flat in Game 1, but a club with their level of playoff success is going to be able to make the adjustments. The only question is whether it is all enough. Remember that in last season’s playoffs, teams that lost a game came back to cover 61% of the time. Maybe Gregg Popovich sends Jordan to the line ad nausea and they get the desired results that way.
