College Basketball Betting: NIT – UC DAVIS AGGIES at STANFORD CARDINAL (3/17)

COLLEGE BASKETBALL — March 17

NIT Tournament
UC DAVIS at STANFORD

(GetThatBet Line: Stanford -8.5, Total 150) — UC Davis leads the nation in three-point shooting (44.9%) and is one of the leaders in Effective Field Goal Percentage, so the Aggies know how to get some points on the board. Yes, you can point to last year’s 83-56 Stanford romp in Palo Alto, and indeed UCD is from a lesser conference (the Big West). But the Cardinal is in a different place right now, fresh from the downer of not having qualified for the NCAA’s and coming to the action with a 2-10 ATS record over their last dozen games. All too often, Chasson Randle has been off the mark (31% FG’s in his last eleven). That has a tendency to take Stanford down, because he takes proportionally too many shots. And that could play into the hands of Cal-Davis, which is no slouch defensively (41% allowed).
