College Basketball Betting: NCAA – SAN DIEGO STATE AZTECS vs. ST. JOHN’S RED STORM @ Charlotte (3/20)

COLLEGE BASKETBALL — March 20

SAN DIEGO STATE vs. ST. JOHN’S

(GetThatBet Line: SDSU -4, Total 121) — The big story here for the St. John’s side is that shot-blocking specialist Chris Obepka has been suspended from the team. He is important because San Diego State, not a three-point shooting team, is almost forced to attack the basket. Without him, it makes the Storm play a different game of defense. Steve Lavin has some very useful seniors at his disposal, including D’Angelo Harrison, and he’s got spark off the bench, but this senior class for St. John’s has been an overall disappointment. The Aztecs have allowed just 53.1 points per game, so they obviously know how to control tempo, and they are seething about their non-performance against Wyoming in the Mountain West tourney. They also have the experience, having gotten to the Sweet 16 last year. They can make up for their overall lack of marksmanship (just 42% shooting).
