College Basketball Betting: WASHINGTON HUSKIES at UCLA BRUINS (2/25)

COLLEGE BASKETBALL — February 25

WASHINGTON at UCLA
(GetThatBet Line: UCLA -10.5, Total 140.5) — Greatly contrasting totals trends here, as UCLA has played nine unders in its last ten games, while Washington has gone over in seven of last eight. But if you take a closer look, you will see that in 15 winning efforts for the Bruins (as posted on the big board), eight of them have gone over. They have been a little more deliberate against better squads of late, but there is less need to be careful against a Washington team that has suffered greatly after tossing shot-blocker deluxe Robert Upshaw off the team, allowing 49% or better to each of its last EIGHT opponents. UCLA is only 76th nationwide in adjusted defensive efficiency, so if they want to impress some members of the NCAA Selection Committee (and they are running out of chances), they are going to have to do so with offense, and we surely know they have enough outlets with which to get it done, what with Norman Powell, Bryce Alford and Kevon Looney.
