NFL Betting: ARIZONA CARDINALS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (12/28)

PRO FOOTBALL — December 28

ARIZONA at SAN FRANCISCO
(GetThatBet Line: 49ers -6.5, Total 37.5) — This week head coach Bruce Arians made the decision to go with rookie Logan Thomas at quarterback, then changed his mind when it was apparent Thomas was not ready to handle the offense. So it is back to Ryan Lindley, who has completed only 41% of his passes. The Cardinals’ offense was limited as it was, but when you have to go with the third-string quarterback, things get very primitive. Indeed, Arizona has not scored a touchdown with Lindley. Should we expect anything better against San Francisco? Well, maybe, since the Niners have gone into the tank a few times this season. But this might be a meaningful season finale for this team, which can get to the .500 mark and also might put forth a special effort with Jim Harbaugh almost certainly on his way out the door. It was somewhat encouraging that San Francisco scored 35 points against San Diego last week, even though they did fold badly down the stretch. Arizona doesn’t have enough offensive capability to play from behind.
