Pro Football Betting: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at GREEN BAY PACKERS (11/30)

PRO FOOTBALL — November 30

NEW ENGLAND at GREEN BAY
(GetThatBet Line: Packers -2.5, Total 57) — Talk about making that yardage count! These teams are 1-2 in the NFL in the category of points scored on a per-drive basis. Both quarterbacks are in a groove, and Aaron Rodgers leads the league in quarterback rating. In fact, not only does he have a 30-3 TD-INT ratio, he has also thrown 29 TD passes at home since his last interception. The Packers probably have the edge at wide receiver, but New England has the “shutdown” guy who may be able to take care of either Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb (Darrelle Revis). And the Pats are getting that double-tight end thing going once again, as Rob Gronkowski and Tim Wright have combined for 15 TD’s. Tempted to take any points available, as the Patriots are 16-4-1 ATS as an underdog. Plus, the Pats have edges on both defense (GB is 29th in pts per drive allowed) and in the running game, where LeGarette Blount (2 TD’s last week) has now joined the “committee” that includes Jonas Gray and Shane Vereen. Take note also that the Patriots have played seven of their last eight games over the total.

PLAYS BY JAY: NEW ENGLAND +2.5 ** and OVEFR 57 **
