Pro Football Betting: ARIZONA CARDINALS at ATLANTA FALCONS (11/30)

PRO FOOTBALL — November 30

(GetThatBet Line: Cardinals -1.5, Total 45.5) — We realize that the Cards got thumped last week at Seattle, but they did manage to sack Russell Wilson seven times and were ultimately done in by a ferocious Seahawk defense. The Falcons, who lead the NFC South by default, don’t have that kind of stop unit. In fact, they are down near the bottom in terms of yards and points allowed per drive, while the Cardinals are near the top. Bad clock management and the inability to stop the Cleveland Browns on a final drive led to Atlanta’s third straight home loss last week. Such a thing might have been unthinkable as were watching them take apart Tampa Bay in the season’s third week. Sure, we understand that Arizona has limited offensive weaponry (3.3 yards per carry, 54% from Drew Stanton), but they still have the ability to win the turnover battle (15 INT’s, only nine TO’s) and Larry Fitzgerald swears that he is going to play. You can bet that Matt Ryan won’t have 77 yards rushing, like Wilson did last week. Falcons are 0-7 in non-division games. Have to give edge to the fundamentally-sound side, which is still tied for the best record in the league, has shutdown cornerbacks, and which has covered 15 of its last 20 games.
