Pro Football Betting: NEW ORLEANS SAINTS at CAROLINA PANTHERS (10/30)

PRO FOOTBALL — October 30

NEW ORLEANS at CAROLINA
(GetThatBet Line: Saints -3, Total 49.5) — Fundamentally speaking, the Saints should have edges. After all, the Panthers have given up over five yards a carry, and Mark Ingram seemed to bust out last week with 172 yards. And the secondary has been burned time and again (allowing 69% completions), which makes them appear to be ready for Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham, who is bouncing back from his shoulder injury. But how many times is Ingram going to have a game like that? And what have the Saints done on the road this season? They have lost all four trips into enemy territory. Yes, we know that three of those games were basically lost on the last play, but these guys figured out a way to lose them nonetheless. New Orleans cpnverts 51% pf third downs, which is a positive, but has given up about as much on a per-play basis as have the Panthers. Carolina returns another running back this week as DeAngelo Williams is available, and the defense is capable of a stand on national television against a team switching playing surfaces. We would normally take any points available here, but the money line appears appetizing.
