Baseball Betting: World Series Game 7 – SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS at KANSAS CITY ROYALS (10/29)

BASEBALL — October 29

World Series – Game 7
SANFRANCISCO (Hudson) at KANSAS CITY (Guthrie)

(GetThatBet Line: Royals -150, Giants +130, Total: 7) — This just in – Ned Yost favors the idea of the winning league in the All-Star Game having the home field advantage in the World Series. LOL….Meanwhile, our understanding is that the road team has not win the seventh game of the World Series since 1979. This may not be the last hurrah for this Giants grouping, but it probably is for Tim Hudson, the 39-year-old with the tremendous lifetime winning percentage (.633) who has only one post-season win in twelve starts. Frankly, the Giants hope to get five innings out of him, and then they may go right to Madison Bumgarner, who has been so masterful, to pitch two frames. Of course, there is no guarantee that Bumgarner will operate with such dominance on two days’ rest after a complete game on Sunday. But you know what? He’s going to be plenty good. We respect Jeremy Guthrie’s form lately (1.59 ERA in last three starts), and that in Hudson’s last five starts on four or five days’ rest, his ERA is close to 9.00. But we also respect the Giants’ recent World Series successes, and they are here as an underdog. We liked them to win the Series, and it is no time to turn our back on them.
