Pro Football Betting: CAROLINA PANTHERS at BALTIMORE RAVENS (9/28)

PRO FOOTBALL — September 28

CAROLINA at BALTIMORE
(GetThatBet Line: Ravens -3, Total 42.5) — It would seem that Baltimore has a little momentum, with a dominant win over Pittsburgh and then the last-second victory over a pesky Cleveland crew. Perhaps the departure of Ray Rice was beneficial in that it took a distraction away from this team. We know that the Ravens may have found some additional help on the ground in the person of Lorenzo Taliaferro, who gained 91 yards last week. And Steve Smith, still bitter after Carolina didn’t want him anymore, has become a focal point of the Baltimore offense. The Panthers find themselves in the same situation as last season, offense of Lee speaking, as they have only one wide receiver who threatens anybody. And that’s a rookie (Kelvin Benjamin). Their running game is overrated, and some holes in the defense were exposed last week against Pittsburgh. This team does indeed missed defensive end Greg Hardy, who is sitting out on domestic violence issue. Remember that Cam Newton’s mobility is restricted somewhat, because of injuries to his leg and his ribs. The Panthers wisely don’t want him taking unnecessary chances, but that does take something away from his overall game.
